Little Brown Toast

Brown and soggy you are
like master Yoda sunburned and wet
curling up to hide yourself
but soon enough your thoughts will end
when no one eats you my little bit of moldy toast
and you will land in the garbage can.
Face down and bottom flying high
my poor little bit of tanned moldy toast
do not cry for soon you will see
that tears only make you more shriveled and old.
Now goodbye my little brown piece of toast
you will not be forgot
as you survied the battle and the war
so now your scars will end with you in that big bin in the sky
goodbye my brown piece of toast.

deadly mist

The mist dances by
like a dancer in flowing gowns
seducing those with teasing touches
as it's hand slowly climbs higher
holding poison to drop upon you
but soon you see a light ahead
and leave the mist to shrivel and die
so hear this light bit of advice
do not go out without a light
for is you do you will get caught
in the trap of the beast called the mist.

Freezing a Devil

It had been a normal day, my dear big brother making fun of me from my floral dress, to my small/shortness, to my blond curly locks. Using the unique names of pickle and stupid as bawls filled the cold air; it was nearing the snow of winter when I made my move like a sly fox. Unknowing to everyone that today was different; today I showed to my big brother that I wasn’t a wimp.
We had driven to an old pond with family; I was unsure why but went along with it. As I looked over the dying flowers and hunted for a fox, Colin ran ahead want to get attention from our caring grandmother. I stayed back closer to the adults, and picked at my dress wondering why my mother had stuffed me in it when the pattern looked so much like my bean bag. The giants stopped watching Colin and me to talk among themselves about things that I didn’t really care about, but I eavesdropped in anyway. After and few minutes of dealing with the old and boring people I decided to go closer towards the pond up ahead, where my brother had taken residents for the time being, most likely terrorizing fish.
At the start silent march felt forever as if I would never reach him. But soon his backside was right in front of me and I had an urge to repay him for the names and torment he had inflected, so I pushed my older brother Colin into the depths of the icing over pond. The adults had just turned to see me do this nasty deed, rushed towards my brother, with me grinning like a devil, and helped my thoroughly soaked brother out of the freezing water and into harsh early winter wind. Colin was ticked off not only at me but everyone for laughing the incident off later like I was an angle that had just made a tiny mistake. When asked about why I did what I did the only answer they got was that I had seen older kids do the same thing at the pool in summer time which was true, but what they didn’t know that I had just followed my urge to return the suffering my brother had made me go through back to him, and it felt great to do just that.
