Gods War

Quick flashes of light in the darkness as racing by, fate at work but then nothing, everything stops. Suddenly there was a red glow, confusion comes then slowly dies away and relaxation settles. Sitting up its clear what the red glow was, it was petals as red as blood covering two body’s and a small shivering child tears rolling down her face as she stares with hope in her eyes. Then a figure comes, dark but with a thin glow around it goes near the child. Panic sets in, rushing towards the figure; it stops as well and goes to ash. Relived walking towards the young girl and comforting her then darkness swallows everything. Waking up gasping everything feeling cold as ice.

15 year old, Leo Zane Rai wakes from his dream as the morning birds start to sing and people throw the garbage and barking like dogs at them to make it stop. Leo doesn’t care for that, he’s use to it, and instead he gets up and takes a shower. Only a roof top away a girl is just finishing cooking her breakfast and lunch for later as she sits to eat she makes a list of food and chores that need to be bought and taken care of today. She id Shiku Hitomi Masa age 13, then finishes her meal and heads off to school. While Shiku is leaving her apartment on the top floor of her building Leo has finished his shower and headed out the door of his apartment and follows Shiku to her school, now you may thing this is staking but it’s more like a his guardian angel because this routine (yes it happens every day of the school week and sometimes on weekends) allows protection for Shiku though she doesn’t really need it. This particular morning a group of kids from Shiku’s school just happened to be waiting for her to come but instead got quite a shock and beating from Leo, though he may not look it he has lots of strength under his tan somewhat medium build body with a mop of long dark brown hair on top. To tell you the truth he looked like a school boy that hates everyone and everything that is in tell you look at his eyes. His eyes were golden red in color that could kill a heart with just one glance, it scares most people when they get a good look at him as well. Now after the fight (yea right) had taken place Shiku came around the turn and gave a quick glance at the mess of boys then hurried on. She wonder why there was a group of boys beaten nearly every day of the week but dismissed the thought as school came around the corner and group of people blocked the entry way so she jumped and scaled the gates quickly.

Hurrying off to class Shiku dodged, turned, and pass so many people in such a short amount of time that most students and teachers didn’t see her. Soon she was in class and sitting at her desk out of air relived that she wasn’t late. Then a shady figure come and stood over her “What you don pip squeak,” it spat (literally spat everywhere). Queer the bully out of the class Shiku stared at the hulking mass of flesh that stood before her equipped with a light mustache, puffy sickly looking skin, blood shot eyes, a light case of acne, and unkempt greasy hair and nails she stood over everyone and tormented anyone with all that she had in her, she was not a pretty sight but the school just put up with her incase alien punks on motorcycle ships attacked (yes she was just that scary). She liked to where showy clothes and smeared at least a pound or two of makeup on her face every day and sprayed a gallon of perfume that smelled like grass all over herself. Shiku was never bother by the commentary made by the bully she just was nice in voice and gesture. “Well I need to use the restroom Queer, excuse me,” she walk out of the room and past Queer once in the hall she quickened her pace when in the ladies room she went to the sink and filled it with cold clear water, she washed her face and looked at the refection in the mirror. Long messy blond and silver hair up in a ponytail with eyes gold now but are often the color light aqua blue. Light pink lips and a pale ghostly complexion. got to get yourself together girl, calm down, take deep breathes, now think happy thoughts. Children, small animals, TV, video games, movies, sunflowers, gardens, sunrises, ocean, stars, misty rain, rainbows, roses, friends, family, love and, and … him. ‘Him,’ Shiku thought, ‘the one person who told me everything was going to be all right, if only I could remember his face all I can see is his smile.’ Then Shiku went back to class and thought about everything else.

During this time Leo went back to his house, after seeing Shiku safe at school, and ate a meal of meat and a bottle of milk. He thought about her, Shiku, she was perfect always and he loved her so much, but he couldn’t let her see him and let her know he was still existed. After all that she had been through 8 years ago, she didn’t deserve to be reminded of that time. she was 5 and he was 7 at the time a facility had stolen them after the accident they had experimented on them to make them into weapons and tried to make a mark on their bodies but never did on her except the scar of fear, terror, and depression, his of anger and resentment. Lock in the basement and in cells the where made of cold steel he could still feel burning on his skin. Then, then the rest he had dreamed like a play or movie that came over and over again. Red overcame his sight; wait calm down calm down it won’t do any good to dwell on the past, I found her and will make sure that it never happens again. Okay … wait, what it’s already that late, alright I finished my dinner, now where is that mask, ah here it is. Leo then put on a mask one that was white with black painted lines, small points on the top made two ears the, mask was of a fox and well know throughout the world because it belongs to the assassin, Fang who finish every job perfectly. At the moment Fang left to do his job Shiku came home and felt sicker than ever she dropped everything and rushed to the bathroom for her lunch came up after 20 minutes she came out and drank 2 large glasses of water feeling better she put the food she bought earlier away, did some chores, popped popcorn, and watched a horror movie called prom night. After it was over she said “wow that was good but come on, some many people died in the bathroom and a prom and a hotel at night, now that was a little odd, they didn’t even show the stabbing just the motion also no blood on the guy even though he killed so many people by stabbing and they were all bleeding.” She turned in then by crashing on the couch. Fang on the other hand had just returned from the job and crashed on his bed, they both dreamed about each other and playing as children in tell morning. when a nightmare show itself right out their door’s.

Shiku awoke and smell rose, ash, blood, and death she rose slightly then someone cover the face with a sweet smelling cloth “goodnight little girl” and that was the last thing she heard in tell she woke again. Leo had awoke, startled he had seen the scene of Shiku be drugged; he froze then got up and turned around “hello Fang,” “hello Zen” there in the dark room he was. The moon barley lit his face which was the only part of him that was visible he came closer and Leo could make out the sneer on his ghostly face, his pale blue eyes had a glint in them shining like diamonds even without the moon light, a rose in hand, and hair grey to match his wardrobe. A fur robe, he wore leather boots, pant and a shirt underneath, all black to hide him in the shadows, and also underneath the robe was his chosen weapon alkyd. Zen come closer to Leo then calmly spoke “that girl she’s came into harm, stolen by a rat one whose skilled at embezzlement, their going to try to turn her, he has a team of scientist with him, also the elders want her,” Leo didn’t say a thing “she need to be taken back to base and were all going tonight,” Zen spoke in a clam mocking tone, like it was a game that would be easy to win. Two hours later Fang was ready his mask in place, dressed in all black, and his weapon in hand, a gun with the name of Hades. Ok she’ll be fine, but if they did do something that entire place will be gone in a huge black cloud of smoke, alright must… stay…. Calm. Gone, he had leapt and was all ready running over the roofs to where Shiku was being kept.

Which was a mansion at the outer area of town; scared to death and shaking she couldn’t stop shaking. “calm-m-m doww-w-wn,” but she couldn’t, gunshot and the smell of blood, nothing, silence, she peered once more around the room, and once more concert and a rusted creaky bed striped of everything but the mattress stared back at her. Oh, this is bad, horribly, dev-, a loud bang fill the silent room and silence once again settled, like dust in an attic, but Shiku was watching under the door, blood was flowing from under it, not stopping, Shiku backed up until she hit the wall and watched as the bright red fluid covered the floor, the door bang open she screamed and curled up in to a ball trying to hide like a turtle going into its shell. “Shiku!” a voice suddenly yelled, she looked and there was a dark figure breathless in the door way staring with the most handsome eyes she had ever seen. Fang had lost his mask, but he didn’t care all it was only a toy to hide him anyway, he stared at her then he looked down knowing what his eyes did to people at first glance, then with a sound he rush through the blood and hugged Shiku, hold on to her with all his might then she did something he never expected, she hugged him back and started to cry saying “please don’t let me go please don’t.” “How sweet,” Shiku shivered then her hands dropped all because a sickly sweet voice had echoed from the door. “Shiku? Shiku! Wake up please,” Leo had started screaming “No use boy she is a bit of a rebel now but soon she will be as obedient as a dog,” the voice was closer; Leo turned and saw a grotesque sight. A slimy thing had just came in, a sickly color, white with a tint of yellow, it looked like a snake but had arms with webbed hands holding a cocked gun and what seemed like legs but instead of feet there was a tentacle for each leg and a tail like a snakes, but its head is what was the worst. its head was shaped like a snakes and sat on top of a long neck ,it had no lower jaw but an upper one and a hole where the throat is slime drip from it both eyes were just white and flaps of skin were under them and then entire body was bloated and covered in scars. “Hand over the girl human,” “no,” “stupid human her mother and father want her now, besides you would just give to the elder’s right? Well wrong young one she belong back home with the ones who will help her, so, HAND HER OVER NOW,” “she will come with me and I will see that no harm come to her demon,” “human you making a horribly mistake,” “to bad, this girl will be coming with me.” Leo blinked and the demon was gone.

“Oh my head feels like-,” “morning” Shiku stated looked around then spotted the person, he was holding out a milk bottle, she took it and looked around her she was in a shrine out on the porch next to a slightly over grown garden. “What happened,” “you passed out and we came to save you,” she looked right at the person he was wearing a huge grin and his canines had were like and dogs or cats, and his eyes were different the shined and would look like a wild animals but with his smile he looked . . . hmm cute, adorable, nice! That’s it he look kind and nice. “are ok hey didn’t hurt you did they?” oh yea the night before “ ah no they didn’t, but who are you and how do you know me?” “oh” his smile faltered a little “ I’m Leo, part of the Gods, and I know you because . . Um well,” he couldn’t tell her “never mind just- wait your part of the Gods, like the assassins, know and feared by all? And who some people say there stronger than them,” she mumbled the last part but Leo got it all and he just shook his head yes. “Oh, well that’s um interesting” he’s smile went from ear to ear and she couldn’t help but laugh a little. “Hm, how cute.” Zen came for no where and had interesting effect on the scene, Leo growl and glared well Shiku tried to understand where he came from. “The elders want her, now” he murmured the last word.

“Where is she!?” “I don’t know but she should be here soon” “better be” “yes sirs” A young women mumbled she was agitated and wondering what was causing the problem she was one of the best in the gods and very loyal. She also was quite pretty with long dulled blond hair with waves and blue eyes, she was a master in sword and always where her general clothes, though she was this handsome she was never told so because she devoted every moment she had to the Gods. “Hey she’s here Mast” “Good” she looked at the girl that was call the deviled angle she was a weak pitiful looking creature. “come girl the elders want to speak to you” shiku was led forward to an opening in front of screens the showed three old men “ welcome Ms. Hitomi Masa to the Gods,” Started Shiku flinched slightly each of the old men noticed and a sneer ran across their faces and the smugly thought how easy this would be. “May we call you Hitomi?” “Yes” Shiku was shaky still but spoke with confidence “Hm. . . Alright I will get right to the point, my dear Hitomi you are a divine child who we, the Elders, wish to help with understanding thing power you control.”

Shiku listened but couldn’t believe these old geezers they said lies all they wanted was to awoken this power everyone said she was supposed to have. “Well, will you join use Ms. Hitomi Masa?” she stared at them with no expression then said in barley a whisper “I I . . . I don’t know” “Oh well, we’ll give you some time to think you may stay in the garden shrine if you wish to” “thank you, sirs.” She then walked away with Leo right behind his mind was on overload he wanted to push her down and fight her well kissing her, he had to gain control. “the girl, she can tell what the real reason is that we want her”

“Shhh, sleep my darling sleep, you’ll be safe soon so, please sleep,” a shadowy figure slowly put a young infant into a shallow pond as small as fowl. This child was wrapped completely in cloth except for its face that seemed to glow in the treacherous night. The features of this child’s face would have made the devil cry, because her face was perfect and godly, the eyes changed color as well as her hair, skin as white as the moon and seem to shine as well. She was perfect but different like there was a cold evil feeling that would never let you feel joy again. And as the famine figure put down the girl she sang as if this was there last night. As she sang with a pain in her voice something happened the small baby closed her eyes and sank into the pond darkness surrounded her as if she was swallowed by a beast. Into the darkness of the pond as if it was miles deep not just a few inches.

Nearly 13 years later a small infant was found in this pool she looked just like the child who was put in this pool 13 years before but had amazingly long hair and could walk and talk in spite of being what looks like only 5 years old. This girl is the one who will bring death or pleasure where even she went but the people who found her didn’t know that, they thought that she was just a sick orphan.

“LalalalalaLAAAAAAAAAAla! Now this is great, the crops this year were perfect and papa said that we can go to the fair.” This was all a wonderers daydream by a young girl. She was thin, had blond nearly white hair, emerald green eyes, and nice soft pink skin that was covered in bruises, for she had been beaten by her father for no reason. This is the same girl in fact who finds the small child, right about now. “Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, oh my god oh my god,” ‘a guh w-what who, who are you where a-am I, and why is it so cold.” As you can tell that the first meeting for the two girls didn’t get off on the right foot. So now we will do a short summary of what happens in about the next 15 minutes. The girl the found the child and ran her back to a house which is her home. And during that time we find out her name is Mary and that she has two parents which were just as surprised as her to see the child, and then after making sure she was ok they started to question her. Now this is where we go back in to the story and tell it regularly. “So you don’t remember anything at all?” asked a farmer named Dave (he’s father of Mary) “well I do remember one thing,” “what’s that?” “My name it is Alice Rose Ripper.” … “ really that’s good,” wow this kid is weird and what’s with name, I bet she just made it up off the top of her little head and how can she walk and talk so well when she has to be only 5 years old?! Well this guy thinks rude thoughts what a weirdo thought Alice (she had read his mind for those who didn’t know); I wish he would go away, thought Alice. “well in short will try and find your parents all right,” “Hm, oh well thanks for the offer but there actually in town and some thing scared me, that why you found me passed out because I tripped and blacked out,” but the look on Dave’s face told her he wasn’t believing her at all and he also wasn’t let her go so easily. “Well I’m sure they wouldn’t mind us dropping you off right?” drat “well, fine I lied, but I’d really rather just go back to the orphanage I came from all right,” “Why you poor dear don’t worry well take you in,” this came from Kate the farmer’s wife. Oh god, where the heck are all of these idiots coming from. “Um, p-papa,” “what is it you brat,” “well the traders are in town today aren’t you going” “yes I am but when we get back you better have everything cleaned up or no table scraps, GOT IT!” “Y-yes papa” SLAM… Alice got bored and spoke “well their a horse’s butt” “oh don’t say that their, their… ok their a horse’s butt” Alice stared at her for what seemed like forever. “Do want him gone and the wife” “yes” Mary mumbled “well then get your stuff,” Alice started to smile like the Cheshire cat while Mary just stared at her like she was an angle, “were leaving, now.”

So an hour later both Alice and Mary where off, away from Dave and Kate. But what they didn’t know was that they being followed by the people they were trying to escape, or did they know. “Don’t panic but were being followed,” murmured Alice she sound deadly and Mary was afraid to speak but she said in and low and frighten voice “ they won’t give up in tell they die right, well they should do just that,” “ right on, hey know you’re not human right?” “What” “well you’re part human your dad probably was one and your mom was a demon” “really, wow” “you’re part lam; mom was a ram demon not as common as some of the other but you, you’re down right rare.” Mary couldn’t say a thing just think then she spoke “is it ok if I curse them?” Alice started to smile but didn’t say a thing, “Hey you brat’s come here, NOW” Dave finally came out same with Kate. Mary move and looked at them think of her daydream earlier and looked at the girl that she had found then pointed at them and said something that no one nearby but Alice understood. She held up three fingers and said “1, 2, 3.” And that was the end of Dave and Kate.

Mary head was in chaos, it was war ground in there half of her wanted to believe that this was just a horrible dream and that she would wake up soon, but the other half told her she was awake and that she was right for destroying Dave and Kate. And the worst part was that her entire body was burning like it was in a volcano, Alice said it was normal when you found out your a demon, oh why her. “Hey I told you not to be depressed got it” “sorry, hey is your name really Alice or something else” “ Hmmm, yeah my name is Alice but call me whatever you want ok” “Kay.” They didn’t speak for the rest of the night.


Now you’re probably are wondering what the heck is going on and how Alice knows all that she shouldn’t know anything right? Well your wrong, Alice actually does know a lot she just doesn’t have a lot of memory about her past with her parents just a blurry vision of a black things.

“Ugh” Mary woke up bright and early the next morning, she reach up to scratch her head when she felt something soft and puffy. “WHAT THE” racing to the pond Mary started to pray that she wouldn’t died, but if she had noticed anything else at the time, it probably would’ve noticed that she didn’t have anymore pain in her body. But all she cared about was seeing her reflection, but that didn’t help anyhow. “ OH MY GOD, ALICEEEEE‼‼” “What are you screaming…” Alice saw what Mary had screamed at, she now had ears small lams ear and a puffy tail right at the end of her tail bone. “Wow, you got those fast than normal” “just tell me what the heck is happening” Your half demon and you use your powers so your got something to show off now” “pleases just tell me how to make them disappear pleaseeeeeees” “OK you just think of them gone, but you might want to know that there already gone” “huh” Mary patted her head and backside there was no tail or ear to be felt. Alice was board once again so she did something interesting, she talked to Mary using just her mind. Hi, Mary was startled but didn’t talk she somehow know that that was Alice so she talked back, Hey, well this is cool, ya, lets go to the village nearby to get food, Kay. So they set out to find food in a nearby village but what they didn’t know was that this village was abounded by all except a small god, one that was waiting for something to happen, something that would wake him up to the human world once again.

Now as the two girls walked up to the village they knew that it was old and probably abandoned, but they kept right on walking. Because both of the girls kept thinking one thing, this place has food right? Well it did but they noticed some things well looking for a meal, there were dead bodies everywhere, they had lost any rotting smell that they had a long time ago, and most buildings were smashed everywhere.
But then they found a restaurant fill with warm food so they instantly for got every thing else other than the food. After 2 hours of eating till their guts felt like popping out of their bodies. They left the restaurant and they spoke what they thought about the town. Mary went first “You know this town is so weird, I mean not a lot of towns have… dead… bodies….. everywhere” they stopped looked right at each other and did what any two girls would do, they screamed out this “ WHAT THE,OH GOD!!!!” they spoke at the same time well talking to each other, “why did we not think this was weird when we came in oh god, god, god, god.” Then they passed out. And to make it clear passing out is when you go over hyper and fell asleep. Blacking out is when you fell asleep for no reason at all, and fainting is when your over scared.

Well when they woke they were in a cave and surround by cute little critters. They were as big as a large dinner plate, white except the eyes those were red also they were furry. Soft fluffy cat like fur, white feathered wings, and along tail with a turf of hair at the end, that’s also what they look like.

Black stallion and Red Mare

As you sit on a hill you look down to the valley where you hope the horses will appear. Soon you see them; they are wonders in your eyes but evil in to others. As they race down the hill you wish you could join them and be free, but you know that you can’t and so, you must decide if you will tell everyone where the horses are or keep it to yourself. In the “the Black Stallion and the Red Mare” a short story by Gladys Frances Lewis, you learn that sometimes you don’t want to do the right thing because it hurts.


When David see a band of wild horses and he has the power to help these wild animals go free. But he is loyal to his family and tells them where to find the band. Maybe he should not have done that because if the horses are taken they won’t ever be able to roam free again. They don’t even belong to us they belong to Spain which belongs to Europe, and then Europeans legends say horses came from the sea, so the horses belong to the sea. But after someone tells people where to find the things they hate what’s the next step, but to chase after those things. You hog tie the ones you catch and then go after the rest, well at least that’s what these town people do. That had to make the people who love those wild creatures furious. The main character of this story, David, was one of animal lovers, though he was more sad than upset.


In this story there are two horses that just don’t what to be captured. They are a black stallion, who’s the intelligent and strong leader of the group. The other horse is a gorgeous red mare. David was interested more in them than the other horses because of their interesting actions. They were partners since the red mare had a secret; she is blind, stone blind. It was amazed when to read that, you had to do a double take, but that did explain the bond was so strong between the two.


This story is sort of sad and weird because now-a-days we don’t do that to wild horses also there aren’t many wild bands these days, since we have taken most of the land for ourselves. It sort of makes you feel bad, that we took all the land and said whatever was on it is ours that we can do what we want with it. This also occurs when we destroy a 200 hundred year old tree just because we hate that’s it a pine tree, even shooting a raccoon, hitting it and breaking its back, or even killing it and not caring. So we have driven all of them out of the place they call home.

As night comes you begin to cry because all the horses that you care for so deeply are gone. They’ve been stolen from the land that they called home and now will never again be free. “The Black Stallion and the Red Mare” shows that pain can come from doing the right thing.
